Job Summary:
Wendy's Franchise is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities in the Indianapolis market. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all Wendy's locations within the designated region maintain the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and overall condition of all restaurant facilities within the region, ensuring they meet health, safety, and operational standards.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and ensure implementation of the same across all locations.
• Manage and supervise a team of facilities staff including 3 internal maintenance technicians, contractors, and third-party vendors.
• Plan and manage the annual budget for building services, maintenance, and facility upgrades.
• Coordinate with restaurant managers to schedule preventive maintenance and address immediate repair needs.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
• Lead energy management initiatives to reduce energy usage and costs.
• Implement and oversee emergency plans for all locations, including disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring competitive pricing and service guarantees.
• Use performance metrics and feedback to improve facility services and impact overall business operations.
• Report to operations team regularly on status of facilities.

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and management of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent in experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in the restaurant or retail industry. Operations experience a plus.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC systems
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and tactically.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
