Our company is seeking a Business Development Sales Representative to become a member of our team. This onsite role is located in Valley City, OH and reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

What You’ll DoIdentify or create new market opportunities. Develop a network of contacts to acquire new customers. Evaluate and investigate market trends across different industries to create a plan for strategic growth. Drive opportunities through the entire sales cycle including prospecting, qualifying, presenting and proposing. In a highly collaborative work environment, work closely with subject matter experts to support or lead product launches to develop go-to market strategies for clients. Analyze requests for quotes and implement prospecting plans to expand our reach. Develop and maintain sales action plans.
While supporting stakeholders across the company, you will facilitate high-quality, high-caliber customer experiences and will ensure customers’ specific requirements or needs are properly interpreted throughout the sales process.
 Qualified Individuals Have The Following Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business, Sales, Communications or Mechanical Engineering from a four-year college or university.

  •  Entry-level experience (up to 4 years) in B2B sales position. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; ability to interact professionally and at multiple levels.
    • Experience with/ interest in presenting and/or public speaking to small groups.
  •  Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
  •  Ability to work accurately with details and to take complex problems and communicate at a technical level.
  • Highly skilled in MS Office Suite and ability to learn new software, such as SAP (ERP).
  • Ability to work onsite in Valley City, OH at one of our manufacturing facilities when not traveling to customers or tradeshows.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% - 40% (Travel will vary).
  • Project management skills and experience with product launch cycle preferred.
  • Metal manufacturing processes or industry experience preferred.
