Certified Nurse Midwife
OB/GYN York Hospital
WellSpan Health, an integrated not-for-profit health system serving the communities of South-Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland, is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse-Midwife to join our growing OB/GYN team in York County. The organization consists of a multispecialty medical group of 220 care locations, eight hospitals, and a growing number of academic clinical affiliations. WellSpan Health is a team of 20,000 healthcare professionals committed to transforming the health of the communities we serve and educating medicine's next generation of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
About the Position
- Provide care across the lifespan with emphasis on pregnancy, childbirth, and reproductive health
- On call 24-hour rotation responsible for rounds/L&D at York Hospital receiving patients from six practices
- Supplement call shift with 2050 S. Queen St. office hours

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Bachelors Degree Required
- Masters Degree Preferred
Work Experience:
- 2 years Relevant experience. Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required or
- Registered Nurse Multi State License Upon Hire Required and
- Certified Nurse Midwife Upon Hire Required and
- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Appropriate Clinical specialty certification from American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). Upon Hire Required and
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nurse-Midwifery. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Considerable degree of independent judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal/communications skills.
