About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead Service Operations and stability initiatives within the Technology Platform Management Team supporting the Chief Operating Office.

The role will oversee the Incident, Problem & Change Management functions and will partner closely with engineering and support functions within TCOO to design and drive stability initiatives aimed at reducing the overall incident impact and volume across the whole TCOO suite of applications.

The role includes both governance and execution responsibilities and is a hands-on individual contributor role with support from a small team of dedicated and shared resources.

The successful candidate must mature existing processes and establish new processes to improve controls and stability across the team. This position will interact with senior technology CIOs, Technology Infrastructure leadership and Platform managers and requires a high degree of ownership and vision to move the stability agenda forward. Providing high value customer service and developing strong relationships with the ability to influence these internal stakeholders is a key requisite.

In this role, you will:

• Define and implement strategic programs to reduce incident volume, severity and resolution time and improve stability across the suite of COO applications
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement that address long-term business strategies
• Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers in order to engineer projects, identify new products and solutions, and research solutions for existing systems
• Identify risks associated with technological strategies and propose alternative solutions
• Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Systems Operations team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
• Interpret and develop policies and procedures, and understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported system area
• Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, analysts, or associates
• Ensure the Systems Operations team communicates with customers to keep them informed of incident progress, and notify them of impending changes or agreed outages
• Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications, US:

• 8 years of Systems Engineering and Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5 years of Management experience
• Experience leading SRE or Incident, Problem & Change Management functions in a comparable organization

Required Qualifications, International:
