Wells Fargo is Hiring a Lead Small Business Accountability Specialist Near Minneapolis, MN

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Accountability Specialist to support Consumer and Small Business Banking. As a Lead Business Accountability Specialist, you will be responsible for standards and controls in the business, ensuring effective design, assessment, monitoring, and execution through establishment of protocols, assessment, risk mitigation, oversight, reporting, and self-assurance activities.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex initiatives with broad impact which are designed to mitigate current and emerging business risk issues and concerns; act as key participant in large-scale, cross-functional planning for the business
  • Assess, analyze, and design complex and multi-faceted controls, protocols, and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment, including ensuring effective planning for sustainability, ongoing control adherence, reporting, measurement, technology impacts, and monitoring
  • Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business's functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; influence and lead key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid to senior-level managers to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in interpreting, developing, and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
  • Act as liaison for the business with external parties to support timeliness, appropriate response strategy, and effectiveness of communications and materials
  • Experience supporting the build-out and running of transformation pipeline and monitoring automation deployments
  • Experience developing the robotics and automation discipline with a focus on strategy development, management, and planning as well as program leadership and delivery execution, including leading internal and external resources to deliver on outcomes.
  • Experience deploying intelligent automation across all areas of operations and integrating automation.
  • Translate complex or ambiguous business problem statements into analysis and reporting requirements
  • Identify and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting and data requests as needed
  • Develop & automate analyses using data visualization techniques and/or advanced Business Intelligence platforms integrated within the analytics tool
  • May lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in process automation - can be mix of RPA, AI or other
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Experience in Small Business
  • Strong relationship development skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and the ability to effectively manage and build relationships.
  • Communication Expert, with ability to adjust messaging based on the audience
  • 2 years of SharePoint administration experience
  • 1 years of experience with Power Automate, Power BI, and/or Power Apps
  • 1 years of experience with computer programs including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), Cognos or Tableau
  • 1 years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell, VBScript, or JavaScript
  • Expertise in SQL and SAS coding
