About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Designer to join our Consumer Lending design team. This cross-disciplinary team is responsible for designing and maintaining a memorable, supportive, and compelling experience for the millions of Wells Fargo customers who use our digital products and offerings each year. The Lead Product Designer will partner directly with Product and Content designers, Product Managers, and Development teams across the organization to achieve these goals.

The Strategy, Digital and Innovation (SDI) team forges the strategic direction of Wells Fargo, it provides and manages our digital foundation and common capabilities, and transforms our business models to meet evolving customer needs and grow the company. In this role, you will:

• Lead complex initiatives including those that provide product usability, evaluation, and support to product development teams
• Develop and execute customer experience solutions for online applications and websites within the Wells Fargo digital ecosystem
• Be accountable for overseeing the execution of strategic design projects that influence design and strategic direction of the company
• Review and analyze complex industry leading user interface design solutions that require the evaluation of multiple factors
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Manage the execution of strategic design projects that influence design and strategic direction of the company
• Serve as design advocate with the ability to forecast and assess industry trends and their impact on the company's product design initiatives
• Lead customer experience strategy for platforms and products
• Influence roadmaps and business decisions by advocating for the voice of the customer throughout the planning and design processes
• Make decisions in customer experience strategy for platforms and products requiring understanding of the function and compliance requirements
• Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Desired Skills:

• Hands-on experience designing complex user experiences (UX and UI) in Figma
• Strong visual design skills showcasing your ability to solve for complex problems in a delightful way
• Ability to clearly articulate a strong design rationale; storytelling skills that compel stakeholders
• Experience working within, creating and/or maintaining robust Figma-based design systems and pattern libraries

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of Online and Digital Product Design, Information Sciences, Graphic, and Visual Arts experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Pay Range for San Francisco, CA and New York, NY:
$115,900.00 - 206,100.00
