About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Head of Issues Resolution and Remediation in Shared Services within the Chief Operating Office. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .
In this role, you will:
  • Lead a team of professionals to develop and implement a long-term strategy overseeing issue remediation for the Financial Crimes Operations and Regulatory Operations organizations.
  • Be responsible for designing and implementing processes that promote effective governance over issue remediation. The leader will also identify trends for purposes of influencing strategic direction and maturing practices.
  • Ensure collaboration amongst business groups, control, technology, operations, IRM, and other enterprise partners to strengthen decision-making and successfully remediate issues.
  • Execute a global strategy, along with supporting practices, to enhance transparency and oversight of issues owned by Financial Crimes Operations and Regulatory Operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports who will liaise with corrective action owners for status updates, maintain holistic reporting in partnership with control management, and lead meetings driving oversight of all issues owned by Financial Crimes Operations and Regulatory Operations.
  • Serve as the centralized, global leader overseeing remediation of issues and Audit Examinations for Financial Crimes Operations and Regulatory Operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Issues Management Policy as well as any other applicable enterprise policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 8 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4 years of management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience working with Regulatory issues and Regulatory bodies
  • Knowledge and understanding of ever-evolving regulatory environments and governance process
  • Experience in Issues Management
  • Strong Risk Management and Compliance skills
  • Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization, create a strong collaborative environment, develop partnerships with many business and functional areas
  • Effective relationship management and the ability to influence and create an environment that fosters collaboration and credible challenge across multiple levels of the organization
  • Exceptional track record of driving organizational change and delivering results
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; effective in communication across variety of audiences and constituencies, including executive management
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts so that they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions
  • Superb collaboration skills across multiple levels and functions with demonstrated success through decision making and in gaining alignment
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously in a balanced approach

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
