Banking, Lending & Trust COE:
Our Banking, Lending & Trust COE is a client centric, channel-agnostic center of excellence designed to:
  • Shorten the distance between the client ask and the product or service delivery.
  • Provide access to highly credentialed specialists for all WIM clients through geographically dispersed but centrally managed teams.
  • Create a more consistent advisor and client experience.
  • Deliver best-in-class product and service offerings to all client segments.
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Head of Governance, Efficiency and CAO for the Banking, Lending & Trust COE.
In this role, you will:
  • Provide vision and set direction for multiple high impact initiatives and teams to achieve long-term strategic objectives that impact organization and management across functions.
  • Collaborate with peers and senior leaders to develop highly complex, multi-year projects, strategies, goals, and business ventures related to risk mitigation, efficiency generation and client experience enhancements for Banking, Lending & Trust.
  • Provide thought leadership to develop and implement strategic solutions for highly complex and potentially companywide business challenges.
  • Lead a team of managers and senior professionals and develop longer-term strategies for risk mitigation function to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead the CAO and Risk Governance Team overseeing issue management and execution against corrective actions commitments.
  • Lead coordination, ongoing management, oversight and facilitation of India and Philippines offshoring team.
  • Engage and influence business heads, regulators, control management, risk, legal, and audit partners to successfully ensure appropriate management of business risk.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in business group.
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 8 years of risk management, business controls, or compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 4 years of management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • 10 years of risk management and CAO experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5 years of management experience with significant experience at a leadership level
  • Demonstrated ability as a thought leader in efficiency standards and ability to drive efficiency initiatives through process re-engineering
  • Experience as a CAO in a large, complex financial organization strongly preferred
  • Strong background and understanding of Risk and Operations.
Pay Range
$207,900.00 - $431,900.00
