About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a CIB Operations User Access Management Support Specialist within our Access Management team as part of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Operations group.

The CIB Operations User Access Management team acts as liaison between CIB Operations team members globally and the Enterprise Access Management (EAM) and Wholesale Identity Access Management (WIAM) groups to facilitate all application access requests for the organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct reviews with Operations managers to ensure role-based access profiles (SIMBA Matrices) established across the organization are kept current and provides changes to the WIAM partners that manage the profile documents.
  • Advise leadership to develop or influence complex objectives, processes, industry related regulations, and long-term goals for highly complex business needs across organization
  • Lead in one of the following securities client and trade lifecycle processes or related industry regulations: Client Onboarding, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Customer Identification Program (CIP), cash payments, customer service, Broker Dealer Operations, Tax Reporting, Confirmations, General Ledger Reconciliations, Documentation related functions (Quality Assurance, Digitization, Approval to Trade, Client Facilitation, Project Management and Shared Services Data Integrity Strategy)
  • Consult as a SME in current regulations (MiFID II, Uncleared Margin Rules, 15c3-3, CASS Reporting, Volker, Dodd-Frank, LIBOR migration, SDR and SFTR) or one of the leading industry systems related to the support functions (Broadridge, Smartstream, BaNCS, etc.)
  • Develop and implement resolutions to the most complex issues as they arise within the client and trade lifecycle
  • Deliver solutions and coordination of highly complex activities
  • Lead industry related initiatives
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to more experienced leadership
  • Implement innovative and significant business solutions
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide
  • Partner with Front Office Sales and Trading, Market Risk, Technology, Compliance, Finance, Operational Risk, Audit, HR and other support functions
  • Work closely with regulators, external vendors and consulting firms to participate in the design, build, testing and remediation phases of complex related issues

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4 years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • In depth understanding of Capital Markets products and processes and the myriad of applications and access levels needed to ensure successful Operations support.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work with all levels of end users and managers effectively to explain access in plain business language terms.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to Technology partners and EAM/WIAM partners with requirements.
  • Ability to navigate through complex platforms to perform research related to new access requests and determine the appropriate recommendation for the user.
  • A strong level of risk awareness regarding the complexities around user access needs and potential toxic access combinations; ability to identify opportunities for reducing access related risk while implementing process improvements.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
