About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Asset Based Lending Sales Director to lead the ABL Originations team

In this role, you will:

• Lead a Capital Finance sales team comprised of managers and experienced professionals with a focus on the successful execution of our business objectives with a particular focus on driving loan and fee income growth and improving Capital Finance’s ROE on new business transactions.
• Actively engage with prospective client in the field alongside our sales team and partners in order to build relationships and ultimately convince those prospects to partner with Wells Fargo.
• Champion prospective opportunities through the credit approval process by partnering proactively with the business and IRM approvers to drive loan growth.
• Provide vision and set direction for multiple high impact initiatives and teams to achieve both short-term and long-term strategic objectives within Capital Finance’s Sales function with a focus on effective partnership across Wells Fargo.
• Provide thought leadership within Commercial Capital Sales functional area to develop and implement strategic solutions to highly complex and potentially companywide business challenges.
• Collaborate, influence and develop all levels of professionals including experienced managers to ensure that Capital Finance maintains a best-in-class sales team. Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for the assigned sales team.
• Participate in the leadership of Capital Finance and the Commercial Bank

Required Qualifications:

• 8 years of Asset Based Lending experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 4 years of management experience
