Summary

The Sales Account Manager Effectively represents Lowell Farms and the products we offer to a variety of consumers by conducting sales out in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers. The Sales Account Manager is responsible for offering the best possible customer experience and describes any products when necessary, with the goal of building a business by focusing on the client. The ideal candidate is preferably based in Los Angeles as this position will cover Los Angeles County. This position has a base salary as compensation plus commissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating direct sales through contact with buyers and actively pursuing new accounts
  • Maintain excellent connections with top-tier industry players, sells and services up to 25 dispensaries a week in target geographies
  • Passion for meeting and exceeding assigned sales goals and reviewing goals quarterly with the Sales Director
  • Responsible for educating Budtenders, consumers, and or floor sales staff on the company brand, messaging, and products
  • Review, address, and resolve any outstanding client accounts receivable issues
  • Travel within the managed territories regularly by visiting accounts while evaluating brand performance and collecting market share information
  • Monitor account sales, inventory, and opportunities, and develop a promotional schedule
  • Follow up on all communications and all requirements related to setting up and starting new accounts
  • Correspond closely with accounts through outgoing and incoming sales calls and emails
  • Obtain, review, and create monthly, seasonal pre-book sales orders for all categories
  • Work closely with retailers to process assortment orders and fill in orders growing sales within the territory
  • Prepare detailed sales information, brand position, and performance updates at regularly scheduled meetings
  • Assist with the set-up, take down, and organization during events
  • Coordinate and maintain Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable with customers
  • Coordinate In-store customer appreciation days for key accounts
  • Assist with planning, coordination, and organization during retail and trade events
  • Assist with working on larger trade events
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Minimum of three years of field sales experience and cannabis industry experience
  • Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner
  • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively, orally and in writing with various audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and Excel with strong attention to detail
  • Engaging, persuasive, and approachable personality
  • Strong relationship-building skills and comfortable presenting
  • Ability and passion to meet new people and promote products in a competitive environment
  • Experience with customer-facing, fact-based selling strategies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Appreciation for cannabis culture preferred
  • Existing relationships with owners and decision-makers of licensed retailers and/or connections to buyers in the industry
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer In the United States without sponsorship
  • Under state law, all cannabis industry employees must be over the age of 21 years of age
