Summary

The Field Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for driving the integrated marketing strategy and executing plans to increase market share, reputation, and profitable growth in this state’s fast-growing and emerging cannabis market.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Works in close collaboration with the Regional Senior Marketing Manager and marketing team to develop ”on-brand” strategy and action plans, acting as a liaison with retail operations

• Collaborates with the local Sales team (retail and wholesale) to successfully execute our marketing strategy and programs for existing and new products / SKUs
• Identifies, evaluates, & activates locally relevant event, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities
• Oversees implementation of local communications strategy - for campaigns, promotions, events, and digital marketing - for both internal and external audiences
• Demonstrates an effective understanding of marketing, advertising, and promotional activities to create, launch, and track performance of new products and campaigns
• Ensures enforcement of brand guidelines through the line, driving consistent messaging across all channels
• Works with Marketing team and retail operations team to create compelling field marketing campaigns and events
• Responsible for marketing project management including budgeting, expense tracking and reporting, and tracking key performance indicators for marketing initiatives.
• Manage state-specific compliant adaptation of online and offline local marketing assets.
• Analyze products, services offerings and approach of key competitors; leverage the insights gained to communicate key points of differentiation for products and services to our dispensary customers & partners.
• Act as a brand ambassador, upholding brand and trademark standards and consistency across all marketing projects and communication channels.
• Maintain compliance with all State Regulations and company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Business Management or related field
• Proven track record of success in marketing and creative roles with emphasis in social media
• 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing or communications
• Experience in a startup company, cannabis is preferred
• Experience managing multiple priorities, while consistently delivering results on time and within budget
• Ability to pass a background check

Computers and Technology

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Highly skilled and knowledgeable about social medial platforms, digital marketing and engagement
