The Nurse Supervisor will be supervising the nursing staff in providing nursing services throughout the Intellectual and/or Developmental Disability Division. The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Registered Nurse in an OPWDD residential setting with supervisory experience. This is a full time 40 hours a week in-person position.
- Coordination and monitoring of medical services, including medication.
- Ensures electronic clinical record is up to date.
- Supervision of Medication Administration Procedures (AMAP) training
- Provide mandatory and as needed in-service training to nursing staff.
- Participates in interdisciplinary formulation of individual behavior plans.
- Ensure all clinical support staff undertake required trainings.
- Supervision and development of nursing care plans.
- NYS RN Certification is mandatory.
- BS degree in nursing preferred.
- Minimum of 5yr supervisor experience.
- Fully vaccinated (COVID-19).
- Knowledge of OPWDD rules and regulations.
- Ability to Travel frequently between locations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
