Description
Position Summary : The Employee & Labor Relations Specialists works under supervision of the Director of Human Resources and the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
Responsibilities include assisting with the day-to-day operations and employee relations pertaining to the Long Island Division for WellLife Network, and affiliates thereof.
Constituent serves as a contact for employees, the union, and third-party administrators and works in partnership with the HR team members to provide excellent customer service.
The Employee & Labor Relations Specialist has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
S / he relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job, whereas the primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
S / he manages the development, administration and maintenance of the all employee & labor relations initiatives in coordination with the Director of Human Resources and the CAO.
Essential Accountabilities :
advises and assists managers in identifying employee relations issues and determining appropriate course of action.
