**Description**

**Purpose:**

By adhering to Welk Resorts I-Serve service standards, under the supervision of a Sales Manager, All agents are responsible for selling and offering upgraded ownership packages to current owners and to new clients provided my our marketing group. Sales Representatives will maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times when dealing with potential clients, co-workers and management staff with Welk Resort Group.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):**

**Resort Wide:**

* Consistently follow the I-Serve standards at all times.

* Follow all company and department policies and procedures.

* Attend safety meetings, keep the workplace in safe condition, and work in a safe manner.

* Adhere to attendance policy and report to workstation at scheduled start time.

* Propose ideas or find ways to improve services, systems, and/or procedures.

**Department :**

* Set Vision and Expectations: Provide a clear picture of future so others can understand and share view. Makes sure that team members clearly understand what is expected of them.

* Practice and Preach Welk Resorts family values and fun environment

* Create a Sense of Urgency with your team.

* Motivate the sales team to achieve the highest level of performance through effective leadership and established best practices.

* Establish written individual and team goals and monitor performance on a daily basis to recognize excellence and coach for improvement.

* Recruit individuals that possess the skills and personality to be successful sales associates, utilizing the recruiting processes established by the company.

* Develop others: Regularly provide feedback and coaching. Provide training opportunities to team members to improve their skills and address their career development needs.

* Monitor the sales process to ensure that sales are achieved by the prescribed selling method and with the highest level of integrity.

* Administer Company Policies and processes in a consistent, fair and equitable manner.

* Take Over (T.O.) to close the saleAll other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications:**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. **Education and/or Experience:**

* Must have High School diploma or equivalent (GED); or the ideal candidate will have at least. **Active State of California Real Estate License**.

* Minimum two year timeshare/vacation ownership sales experience.

* Strong communication skills in dealing with clients and corporate personnel both one-on-one and in a group environment.

* Positive and upbeat attitude to ensure great work environment.

* Have proven track record of strong leadership ability, motivational skills and enthusiasm.

* Track record of strong work ethics and integrity with a sincere desire to make a difference.

* Prior management experience a plus.

**Language Skills:**

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization. Excellent communication skills required. Must be able to speak, understand, read and write English. Must have excellent English grammar skills, including punctuation, spelling, style, etc.

**Reasoning Ability:**

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to make decisions that are in the best interests of the company. Ability to be flexible and easily adapt to change. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, field personnel and sub-contractors/vendors.
