What would you do? The AP Clerk is responsible for closing Purchase Orders (PO’s), inputting invoices, reaching out to vendors for invoices / statements, researching PO’s, doing AP special research projects, and paying bills in assigned software.

They are responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization.

What will you be responsible for?

AP Duties

• Assists Accounts Payable Lead with assigned AP functions.
• Scan invoices, obtain approvals, code invoices accurately and timely, recording of all AP transactions and payments.
• Uses company software to look up POs / invoices for our companies and compares invoices to accounting software to adjust as needed.
• Reconciliation of vendor and credit card statements for payments

Other Duties

• Backs up all positions, assisting with their duties, in the office during vacation periods, illness, or when the office is in a peak load situation.

Do you have the necessary education & experience?

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree, equivalent formal accounting training, or work experience in accounting is preferred.
• 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• 1 year of general office experience.
