**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our eye clinic team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to healthcare professionals, ensuring efficient patient care and smooth clinic operations.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures

- Scribe

- Educate and schedule eye treatments, along with follow-up phone calls and appointments

- Provide medical administrative support including coding and billing tasks

- Ensure patient service excellence and maintain a welcoming environment

- Handle patient inquiries and educate them on prescribed medications

**Requirements:**

- Diploma or certification in Medical Assisting

- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

- Strong knowledge of coding procedures and medical administrative tasks

- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred

- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
