Weiss Asset Management (WAM), a Boston-based investment firm, is seeking an Office Manager who is interested in joining a dynamic team and working at the intersection of facilities and employee management. Successful applicants will be creative problem-solvers and self-starters willing to contribute to all aspects of the firm. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent communication and organizational skills, and an eye for detail.
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a positive employee experience and an immaculate office environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage office facilities and services, including space planning, maintenance, and vendor and building relationships.
Implement employee experience programs and initiatives that enhance the work environment.
Maintain a tidy and organized office space by personally managing and executing essential upkeep tasks.
Greet clients and visitors by providing front-office hospitality services and answering all incoming company requests.
Plan and organize employee events and activities that build morale, foster teamwork, and celebrate achievements.
Conduct employee surveys and feedback mechanisms to gather insights on employee experience and identify areas for improvement.
Continuously evaluate and refine employee experience programs, office management policies, and related initiatives to ensure they meet the evolving needs of employees and the organization.
