As we expand our projects in Indiana we are seeking a diligent and experienced Project Engineer (MEP) to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a Data Center Construction Project Engineer with MEP experience, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale data center construction projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, as well as experience in managing complex construction projects in the data center industry.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and execute comprehensive construction plans for data center projects.

- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection.

- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.

- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project milestones and deliverables.

- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment needed for construction activities.

- Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.

- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.

- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on data center projects.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including design principles, installation methods, and industry best practices.

- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, or Microsoft Project.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Experience working with MEP subcontractors and vendors.

- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and standards applicable to data center construction.

- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
