Wee Care is Hiring a Direct support provider Near Litchfield, AZ

Wee Care has been serving families in our community and surrounding areas since 2006. We offer home and community based services and therapy services to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve and maintain their highest level of independence.

We have immediate needs for direct support providers to work with several individuals in the Litchfield Park area.

19 year old Male requires full care to assist and support him with his daily Habilitation, Attendant Care and Respite needs and goals.

Several shifts available 3pm - 11pm - Monday through Friday; 7am - 3pm - Saturday and Sunday; 3pm - 11pm - Saturday and Sunday

23 year old Female who loves dogs needs Respite support; Flexible schedule. Must be able to work in a dog friendly environment

15 year old Male in need of Respite support; Flexible schedule.

21 year old Female requires support him with her daily Habilitation, Attendant Care and Respite needs and goals. Flexible schedule.

The ideal candidate would have experience with providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their home and in the community and be committed to their health and safety.

Direct Support Provider will support the individual with their daily living skills and goals, which may include feeding, bathing, oral hygiene, incontinent care, transfers and transportation.

Direct Support Provider will support the individual in their home and in the community.

Qualifications :

  • Motivation to make a positive impact in the life of another individual
  • Promote self esteem with an individual and be an advocate for them
  • Working experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus
  • CPR and First Aid certification a plus
  • Article 9 certification a plus
  • Have or be able to Obtain Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance
  • Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certificate a plus
  • Ability to work in the United States
  • Have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
