Wedbush Securities is Hiring a Corporate Recruiter Near Los Angeles, CA

Job Description:

Wedbush Securities is a full-service investment bank and brokerage firm headquartered in the downtown Los Angeles financial district. We are seeking a Corporate Recruiter who will handle university recruiting. This role will also manage a full-cycle corporate recruiting desk nationwide and will assist with the development and execution of sourcing and recruiting strategies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform full-cycle recruiting for administrative, clerical, entry-mid level professional positions
  • Handle all college recruitment matters including career fairs, rotational program, information sessions, summer internship program, and additional university outreach efforts
  • Schedule information sessions at universities with a focus on diverse and inclusive student bodies
  • Ability to travel during fall and spring college recruiting (mostly day trips, some out-of-town)
  • Manage Career Fair calendars and host special intern activities, including information sessions on on-campus university recruiting
  • Draft and publish job postings and descriptions using the firm's ATS, job boards, social media, university Handshake, and other advertising sources
  • Network to build active pipelines by sourcing passive and active candidates through innovative sourcing techniques
  • Support Recruiting team in building strategies that attract diverse candidates
  • Interact and collaborate with various levels of hiring managers across all business units to meet hiring needs
  • Promote companywide diversity initiative by engaging, attracting, and recruiting diverse talent
  • Provide assistance with onboarding and orientation as needed
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required, preferably in Human Resources, Communications or other related field
  • 1-3 years of recruiting experience in a corporate environment and/or search/staffing firm
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and ATS systems
  • Previous experience with university recruiting preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to write with professionalism
  • Strong ability to manage existing relationships and establish new relationships with colleges, D&I organizations and external agencies
  • Ability to interact effectively with hiring managers, candidates and vendors
  • Multi-tasking, flexible, independent self-starter who can work under pressure and take ownership of requisition load
  • Experience in a multi-state, multi-location corporate environment extremely desirable
  • Financial services firm experience a plus
  • Proficient in web-based HRIS/Payroll systems
  • Perform other tasks and duties as required
