Open Position

Location : Dewitt Road Elementary School

Start Date : ASAP - May 13, 2024

Salary : As per current Educational Support Association Agreement (ESA) as well as education and experience

Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent

We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications :

• The ideal candidate should be able to communicate and work well with students (general and special education), teachers, parents, co-workers and others in the community.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to physically keep up with the demands of the position.

Responsibilities :

• Assists in supervision of individual or small groups during in instructional activities.
• Collaborates with teachers.
• Assists in clerical tasks and preparation of instructional materials.
• Assists students with physical care tasks and health-related activities as appropriate. Examples could include : feeding, dressing, transfers between equipment, and toileting.
