Job description

We are looking for an Food runner to manage daily orders being distributed from out Kitchen.

The Food runner at Saltalk plays a key role in ensuring we provide the highest quality of service. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating to with both in house chefs and third party platform drivers.

The ideal candidate will have talent in communication and experience in logistics/Food industry. We expect you to be a reliable professional that is able to follow direction in order to ensure we meet our team goals.

Our team's goal is to consistently provide high quality service to our end customer.

Core Responsibilities

• Running food from our in house chefs to the distribution point
• General cleaning of food hall to ensure it is maintained
• Inventory and daily audits
• Onsite support for third party platforms
• Uphold Quality standards
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• Fluent in English
• Spanish is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Continuous improvement mindset
• California Drivers License
• Clean driving record
• Hours are 8:30pm - 3:00pm
• Contract position
• Weekend availability

Preferred:

• one year of customer service experience in a High volume Restaurant / Retail experience
