Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks such as inventory control, heavy lifting, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inventory control activities, including receiving, counting, and organizing stock
- Utilize inventory system to track and manage inventory
- Fulfill customer orders by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment
- Operate warehouse equipment such as cranes and forklifts to load and unload goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by arranging stock and keeping aisles clear
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Proficiency in using AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment processes
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse layout
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work in different areas of the warehouse as needed
