New Day Office is a thirty-seven-year-old commercial interiors firm, headquartered in Hampton Roads, with an inspiring culture where the staff is on mission together and the client is highly respected. We are seeking a full-time Warehouseman in Suffolk, VA, to receive product, control inventory, and maintain the warehouse facility and installation equipment, supplies, and vehicles.

This team member must have physical strength and stamina required to lift and move furniture, boxes and equipment. Candidate must be able to handle product in a professional manner to minimize damage or injuries, be adept mechanically and know how to safely use tools and equipment.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:

• Receive product, verify box and packing slip counts, inspect for and notate product damages
• Tag, stage, and store product in warehouse
• Pull and properly load product for shipments out of warehouse
• Maintain, organize, and clean warehouse
• Operate a forklift
• Assist with equipment and vehicle maintenance

Candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, have the ability to pass a forklift certification exam, be comfortable driving a delivery truck and be able to do so safely, have a satisfactory driving record and be able to pass pre-employment drug testing as well as background checks to maintain access to military bases and client sites.
