Webasto is Hiring a Custodian - 2nd shift (MON-FRI 2:30pm-10:30pm) Near Lexington, KY
- Performs janitorial functions for 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:30pm plus overtime - Up to 7 days if necessary
- Work within principles of the Colleague Guide - Perform general cleaning procedures as assigned i.e. mopping, waxing floors, vacuuming and trash removal
- Maintain building exterior to include snow removal, sweeping, window cleaning, trash removal and lawn maintenance
- Change light bulbs, paint, hang pictures, and other unskilled duties - Run errands and pick up and deliver miscellaneous materials and supplies
- Clean and maintain bathrooms and floors - Clean and maintain the cafeteria - Operate required cleaning equipment as assigned
- Operate floor scrubber - Set up for plant meetings - Ensure proper handling, storage and disposal of hazardous waste
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is clean and in working order and stored properly when not in use - Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Ability to follow predetermined cleaning and maintenance schedules - Capability to multi task and meet predetermined deadlines
- Ability to comply with company policies and procedures - May be required to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to follow safety procedures to avoid slips, falls, strains and injuries - Good attendance required
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment - Work generally performed in an office and manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to safety policies and procedures
- Reliable transporation - Must be able to stand up to 12 hours
