System Administrators at Weave are responsible for the configuration, maintenance and reliable operation of Weave’s software and computer systems. They play a critical role in defining and leading the technical and cultural direction of the IT team. They interface with stakeholders to ensure projects are properly defined, scoped, and executed.

  • This position will be hybrid working part of the week out of our Lehi, UT HQ
  • Reports to: Team Lead, Systems Administration

What You Will Own (Responsibilities)

  • ​Manage user accounts and access rights using systems such as Workday, Okta, Okta Workflows, and Google Workspace, shell scripting, and API integrations.
  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of corporate office networks, including VPNs. Collaborate within the team to define and implement standards for network components such as DNS, firewalls, switches, access points (APs), etc.
  • Ensure the implementation of security policies on workstations and servers through tools and solutions such as MDM, EDR, SASE/SSE.
  • Managing projects including assisting other team members to scope work, identify dependencies, communicating with stakeholders, documenting changes, etc.
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including policies, configurations, and procedures. Contribute to reporting business metrics and providing insights into critical IT components.
  • Administering the access to and configuration of a wide variety of cloud based productivity tools 
  • System monitoring, maintenance and incident response.

What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job (minimum qualifications- education, experience, certifications, skills)

  • Technical understanding of SSO applications and underlying technologies such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID, etc.
  • Familiar with cloud based directory and integration services such as Okta, Entra ID, or similar
  • Technical understanding managing Gsuite, GCP, and Azure environments and associated APIs
  • Familiarity with the principles involved in architecting MDM based environments (Kandji, WorkspaceOne, Intune or similar.)
  • Experience deploying and managing enterprise network infrastructure
  • Experience administering collaboration technologies, such as Google Apps, Microsoft Teams, audio/video conferencing (Zoom, and Google Hangouts).
  • Proactively document processes and automate repetitive tasks through scripting

What Will Make Us Love You (preferred qualifications- including personality traits)

  • 5 years of IT-related experience
  • 3 years of experience in an IT support team
  • Experience or interest in learning to deploy and automate seamless A/V solutions
  • Demonstrable skill in scripting or coding (Bash, Python, Go, or equivalent.)
  • Attentive to detail and change control issues
  • Experience supporting IT in a Security conscience environment
  • Experience in administering password managers like 1Password
