Our work environment includes working outdoors on large roofing projects. We are a union company which installs various types of roofing systems, including EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, shingle, slate, and various other types of roofing. We generally work within 60 miles of our Binghamton based main office.

Weathermaster Roofing Co., Inc. is looking for Individuals to join our team in Binghamton, NY as a Coomercial Roofer.

Weathermaster Roofing Co., Inc. is a family owned union roofing contractor that has been providing the Binghamton, NY area with a high-quality service for nearly 40 years. We have built a strong reputation of excellence by hiring people who are both hard-working and dedicated to the service of our customers. We are looking for individuals who want to build on their experience in the trades and take pride in their work. Benefits include health coverage, pension, annuity, and training, all provided through the roofers union. Must be willing to join the roofers' union.

Duties Include:

  • Preparing buildings for installation by removing old roofing systems.
  • Installation of wood blocking, roof insulation, and roof membrane systems by using power tools and hand tools.
  • Removal and disposal of old roof systems by using power tools and hand tools.
  • Maintain clean work areas and remove trash regularly.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Experience:

  • 1 year of experience in a construction related role preferred.
  • Experience in a commercial environment preferred.
  • Must be able to follow written instructions correctly and read maps, plans, or diagrams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.35 - $30.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • Construction: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
