Responsibilities

The Global Category Manager- Fleet is accountable to define and execute the global strategy of the Weatherford fleet of 8,000 vehicles . The strategy includes the support of the ESG transition, governance, policies and operational safety and efficiency.

She/he is comfortable managing commercial and operational relationships at executive level.

He/she will coordinate with the different Geozone to implement the global strategy including all sub-categories link to the Fleet. She/he will create, plan, develop and implement long-term partnerships with stakeholders and suppliers in line with group strategies.

She/he will be responsible for the sourcing strategies globally and executing Source to contract.. This role is to be a business partner, maximize the value, support ESG transition & innovation, (electrification, alternatives sources) digitalization, deliver savings and monitor the performance.

She/he is comfortable running complex RFPs, challenging partners on specifications, timelines, quality of service, and other potential bottlenecks

She/he is accountable for data analytics, market analysis, improvement plans, supplier performance management as well as identifying and successfully developing relations with new suppliers. This role negotiates the agreements for the Goods and Services for Corporate, globally and regionally, to reduce Total Cost of Ownership, cycle time and improve quality. This role will report to the Director, Indirect Procurement.

Duties & Responsibilities

SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

  • Maintains safety and service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business
  • Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company policies and procedures, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices
  • Ensures to effectively use and oversee the appropriate procurement contract templates in accordance with Global Supply Chain Legal requirements to reduce the risks, drive the best value and service

OPERATIONAL CAPABILTY

  • Subject Matter expert/stakeholders to influence, assist with business decisions
  • Close collaboration with the key stakeholders, define and implement global technical, commercial and contractual standards to support the implementation of the defined strategies.
  • Experienced on ESG impact, electrification and alternative sources.
  • Define and implement Performance improvement plan to maximize the Supply chain value
  • Participate to the business budget review to identify opportunities and be aligned with the stakeholders/businesses
  • Ownership and accountable to perform spend analysis to establish a detailed view of the current spend segmentation for assigned categories to drive strategy with an intimate knowledge of the supply market, key dynamics and latest drivers within a category

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • 15 years of experience in similar position with growing responsibilities
  • Master degree in Operation, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline a plus
  • Certified Purchasing Professional CPP,CIPS, CSPC or CPM a plus
  • Legally authorized to work
  • Deep experience with global Fleet management and global sourcing
  • Demonstrated track record for closed collaboration with stakeholders and delivering significant and measurable savings in a global, large and fast-moving organization
  • Ability to interact in English and other languages

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

REQUIRED

  • High degree of collaboration and influence at all level with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Strategic thinking and able to develop and execute Global Strategic Fleet initiatives
  • Advanced knowledge of Operation, Procurement and Strategic Sourcing principles and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, including cost models Lease Vs buy, alternative solutions, ESG initiatives
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • Excellent skills to identify sourcing opportunities, perform spend analysis and develop RFX’s documents
  • Strong negotiation and Source to contract management skills to plan, prepare and lead complex global/regional supplier negotiations
  • Strong teamwork, leadership and mana
