Small Engine Mechanic Responsibilities

As a Small Engine Mechanic with WCTractor, you will perform advanced diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on equipment (small engines/lawn mowers/etc). 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform service, set-up and repair lawn/garden and other small engine powered equipment both in the shop and in the field.
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders
• Complete reports and and thoroughly document repairs related to work assignments
• Maintain current knowledge related to agricultural and light construction equipment
• Participate in continuing education opportunities
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and requirements

Service Technician Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent – we're more interested in your drive than your degree.
• At least a year of experience in equipment servicing – but if you're a fast learner with a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you!
• Your trusty toolkit – because every technician needs their tools of the trade.
• A valid driver's license – after all, you'll be out and about, keeping Texas running smoothly.
• The ability to lift and hustle – we're talking up to 75 pounds, multiple times a day. But hey, who needs a gym membership when you've got a job like this?
