POSITION OVERVIEW – Offshore Construction Supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Job Functions:
Work closely with Project Managers/Engineers, providing technical guidance and leading site supervision for construction projects in US production inland/offshore, with budgets ranging from $200K to $3M.
Ensure completion of all construction activities within project objectives, emphasizing safety compliance, quality assurance, cost-effectiveness, and scheduled milestones.
Maintain exceptional safety and production rates, adhering to company, project, and governmental regulations, including conducting accident, incident, and near miss root cause analysis.
Project Execution:
Collaborate in project plan development, contributing expertise in safety and quality control standards, feasibility, constructability, cost, and schedule.
Guarantee clear understanding of project requirements across all personnel levels, including contractor consultation to ensure alignment with approved contracts.
Provide timely daily reports and ongoing consultation with project managers and constructor supervisors, effectively communicating project status, work plans, and issues.
Construction Activities:
Develop effective, high-quality construction work packs for project phases, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and contractual obligations.
Meet and exceed safety, security, quality, schedule, and cost objectives during construction phases, engaging with contractors and aligning activities with regulatory requirements.
Implement strategies to minimize shutdowns and incidents by integrating project, company, industry, and governmental regulations into construction activities.
Business Objectives:
Maintain strict control of construction budget and schedule to ensure projects finish under-budget and on-time.
Align construction activities, project goals, and objectives with functional counterparts, fostering collaboration across departments such as Drilling, Operations, and Completions.
