- Provide assistance to the Government on basic IT and information systems security issues affecting the mission.
- Implement and enforce information system security practices, policies, and technologies.
- Conduct research and analysis on cybersecurity matters as required.
- Maintain familiarity with network and information system security principles and best practices.
- Control, label, virus scan, and appropriately transfer data between information systems at varying classification levels.
- Engender rapport with military, civilian personnel, and other contractors at all levels.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable NRO, Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD) policies, procedures, and operating instructions related to Information Technology, Information Assurance, and Information Management (IT/IA/IM).
- Associate's Degree or higher with 0-2 years of relevant experience, OR High School GED with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in information technology security, information systems security, information assurance engineering, or systems administration is preferred.
- Education in computer engineering, information security, information management, or computer science is desirable.
- Familiarity with conducting research and analysis on cybersecurity matters.
- Knowledge of network and information system security principles and best practices.
- Ability to control, label, virus scan, and appropriately transfer data between information systems at varying classification levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse teams.
- Effective task prioritization abilities.
- Familiarity with applicable NRO, Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD) policies, procedures, and operating instructions related to IT, IA, and IM.
- Experience in technical project management is a plus.
