- Conducting comprehensive analysis and implementing technical security solutions to protect against potential threats.
- Developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
- Providing technical guidance and support to internal teams on security best practices and procedures.
- Responding to security incidents and conducting thorough investigations to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.
- Staying updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and threats to proactively address emerging risks.
- 5 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- DoD IAT II certification required; Level III preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in data security administration principles, methods, and techniques.
- Experience with Authorization & Accreditation (A&A) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
- Proficiency in continuous monitoring, security compliance, threat prevention, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Ability to develop and implement security plans and contingency plans.
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience using Splunk and ServiceNow for security monitoring and incident response.
- Familiarity with cloud security fundamentals and best practices.
- NRO experience preferred.
