Summary:
The Sales Manager will oversee and lead the activities of the Sales Department.

Management Responsibilities:

• Manages Sales Coordinator and sales pipeline via the CRM, ensuring proper handling of all sales opportunities.
• Oversees the schedules, activity, and productivity of the sales team.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Works alongside Marketing Department to ensure effective sales campaigns
• Produces and evaluates sales reports and KPIs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership to the sales team.
• Motivates and encourages the sales team to ensure quotas are met.
• Review and analyze sales and operational records and reports; use data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
• Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
• Assigns territories and sets quotas for sales teams.
• Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
• Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
• Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.
• Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses.
• Acts as company representative at trade association meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• At least five years of sales experience is required.
• A comparable record of sales leadership experience is required.

** Industry experience preferred, but not required**

• Full time
• Monday through Friday
• 40 hours weekly

Travel:

• No travel is expected for this position
