Title: Move Team Lead

Reports to: Relocation Manager

Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

General Summary of the Position:

In this role, you will assist in supervising a crew of movers in the moving of furniture, boxes, and equipment. You will assist in developing a team while driving and overseeing a vehicle. You'll work hard, but the payoffs are endless! We love to CELEBRATE and REWARD our PEOPLE!

Essential Functions:

On time, every time

Coaches, leads, and develops movers to support the move organization and improve daily productivity.

Ensure supplies and trucks are prepared for each job.

Assists in conducting onsite team meetings to reinforce safety training, motivate team, communicate expectations.

Wrap, pack, lift, and unpack like a rockstar! You’re taking care of client’s precious belongings so show them what a PRO looks like! We treat our clients’ belongings like we treat our own belongings.

Funnels personnel problems, complaints, and formal grievances to CGM on site and RM off site

Transmits and explains work orders to movers.

Checks specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in work orders and inventory.

Inspects equipment for wear and for conformance to specifications.

Work closely with the Client Guide Manager or Senior Client Guide Manager to ensure excellent Client and team experience on site.

Other duties as needed.

Preferred:

Valid Driver’s License and your own reliable transportation.

Current (or willingness) to Valid DOT Medical Card to drive a 26-box truck.

1 years of experience in the moving industry

1 years of leadership experience preferred.

Ability to lift items like furniture and appliances (up to 75 lbs.) is required daily.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Verbal and written skills

Bilingual skills a plus

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Skills:

The ability to professionally interact with communities, clients, and internal teams at all levels in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
