Watts Water Technologies is Hiring a Customer Service Rep Near San Antonio, TX

The Watts Water Technologies family of companies designs and manufactures valves and drains and related products that promote the comfort and safety of people and the quality, conservation and control of water used in commercial, residential, industrial, and municipal applications. Everything we design is made to keep the Earth's most precious resource safer, cleaner, and more useful for our customers.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide quality service/support to all Watts' identified Agents and their sales activities in the United States. You'll serve as the point of contact for customers and Agents within their assigned responsibility and will process incoming order and helping solve technical problems for customers. You will be remote and report to the Customer Service Supervisor.

You Will:
  • Handle incoming calls from both internal and external customers as required. Ensures that the customer service department's "call ownership" philosophy/policy is strictly adhered to upon answering
  • Enter sales orders (from phone, e-mail, fax, or written) into the company's order entry system.
  • Assist with requests on shipping, product availability, terms and conditions, and inventory information.
  • Provide written and/or verbal customer feedback to all relevant departments and personnel within Watts.
  • Provide information and assistance for returns, credit memos, no charge sales (samples), and product traces.
  • Handle all customer complaints, problems and returns in a timely, professional and courteous manner
  • Be an interface for all incoming product questions and/or technical inquiries
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
You Have:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in a high volume customer service department.
  • Advanced knowledge of customer support processes (i.e., pricing, products, returns, etc.)
  • Knowledge of domestic and international business, exporting and shipping.
  • Advanced Computer skills (Microsoft Office, order entry systems, etc.)
  • Ability to type 45wpm

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
