**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and supporting dental professionals in providing high-quality dental services. **Duties:** - Assist dentists during procedures as required - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and develop dental X-rays - Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation - Perform dental receptionist duties when needed - Conduct patient assessments and document findings - Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control - Manage and maintain dental equipment and instruments - Assist with medical coding and billing processes **Requirements:** - Completion of a Dental Assistant program or relevant certification - Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols - Experience with medical records management and maintaining accurate documentation - Familiarity with assisting in various dental procedures - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred Skills: - Experience in dental receptionist duties - Knowledge of medical coding practices - Ability to assist with patient assessment systems Join our team as a Dental Assistant to contribute to the delivery of exceptional dental care while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
