DESCRIPTION :

As a Repair & Field Service Technician, you will utilize customer communication skills, and the mechanical and electrical knowledge to repair, troubleshoot, modify and test complex technical problems on Nutrunner & Servo Press products.

It could be both weekday and / or weekend. Travel is primarily throughout the US, but can be international in some cases as well.

Though our repair services are provided at our shop floor in majority of cases, field services and installation of the products are provided on-site at our customer’s facilities and via telephone if the situation permits.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Diagnose technical problem of the products, repair and calibrate them mostly at our shop floor
• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
• Travel to customer locations to install the products at customers’ site
• Examine tools mechanically and electrically in order to perform repairs by dismantling tools and rebuilding as needed
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
• Effectively interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
• Document in detail product problems and resolutions
• Other duties as assigned

• Working knowledge of fastening and assembly processes
• Ability to use basic hand-tools
• Ability to operate a computer with windows operating systems
• Comfort in working with abrasive chemicals to clean parts
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
