Watchful Eye Daycare is looking for a fun, nurturing Infant/Toddler Teacher! This person will need to be well versed in the developmental milestones that need to be achieved in this classroom. They will be able to crawl around, get up and move with the children. Most importantly they will be passionate about teaching!
We have 3 locations and we are privately owned! If you are looking for your forever career, this is the place for you. We are about growth, support and new opportunities.
We have 1-2 days off per month (these are not paid)
All Major Holidays are paid
We also have a Parent's Day out one Saturday a month. This offers our staff an opportunity to make more money if they attend. This pay is separate from your check.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's care
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide individualized support when needed
- Plan and organize activities that promote fine and gross motor skills development
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education degree or Certified Teacher
*90 Hr. Infant/Toddler Certification
*9 Hr. Communication Certification
*ADA Certification
*Basic Health and Safety Certification
Skills:
- Experience in daycare facility
- Knowledge of special education strategies for inclusion of all students
- Ability to incorporate physical education activities into daily routines
