Applicant must possess & demonstrate:

A positive caring approach to teaching

Knowledge of DAP (developmentally appropriate practice)

Infant / toddler teacher certification and a minimum of 1 year experience working with infants

Friendly social skills, flexibility, and tolerance

Great work ethics especially in professionalism and reliability

Be open to learning

Must have high school diploma and/or college credits/degree

Duties include

Providing complete care for a group babies ages 2 - 15 months daily from 3pm 'til closing. Teacher should be able to follow each babies nap, feeding, activity schedule, engage with & give attention to babies with developmentally appropriate activity, communicate with parents, keep a clean & organized room, close classroom with appropriate end of day cleaning, send memos to parents, follow the centers practices, policies, & procedures, write and report incidents if needed, work cooperatively with co-workers & supervisors, seek and continue professional development.
