JOB DESCRIPTION:

WSI is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities and equipment. This will involve carrying out regular inspections to identify and resolve issues, both in the facilities and with shop/trucks. They will check for electrical and mechanical concerns and implement appropriate solutions to keep everything running smoothly. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will develop and implement maintenance procedures, oversee all repair and installation activities, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies. They will also assist in the field with anything that needs assistance and implement lean tactics to keep the shop clean and organized. Finally, they will lead our yard team to ensure the proper flow of portable toilets in and out of our yard.

RESPONSIBILITES:

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company-owned equipment, including but not limited to trucks, small engines, and pumps.
2. Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
3. Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand and power tools.
4. Communicate and order necessary parts.
5. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inspections, and inventory of spare parts.
7. Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize and schedule repairs in accordance with service demands.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
9. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the maintenance facility and equipment storage areas.
