I. Job Summary
Assists in the development of strategic plans to ensure the continued successful growth and profitability of the organization. Contributes to the development of the functional strategy and long-term plan. Works with internal and external customers, suppliers and other partners to resolve problems, respond to suggestions for improvement and enhancements, test, refine and institutionalize solutions. Recommends process, product or service improvements to management based on research and evaluation. May lead project teams and lower-level analysts to achieve milestones and objectives.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

• Conducts complex financial, workflow and process analysis, including GAP analysis, process mapping, root-cause analysis, risk analysis and requirements gathering.
• Assists in the identification of competitive landscapes and the associated long-term planning and strategy to optimize the company's position. Conducts pricing studies and modeling for new or existing products and services.
• Provides analytical support and a new perspective on existing solutions, business strategy and analysis.
• Prepares and presents to project team and management written and verbal reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.
• Participates on multi-departmental project teams formed to address specific business issues and engages key company constituents in the planning and implementation of assigned projects and integration of business strategy.

IV. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience: Five years related work experience (in addition to education requirement).
• Qualified internships during a masters program may count towards the experience required.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

• None required

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

• Demonstrated knowledge of financial analysis, performance analysis and business forecasting concepts.
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be local to Houston area; no relocations.
