JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of a higher classified employee, assists in the operation of parks and recreation facilities. At times, this position is responsible for the opening and closing of the building. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing customer service, conflict resolution, and full-facility emergency response, including aquatics staff assistance. Provides support to seasonal desk staff in relation to customer service, policy enforcement and computer software use.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Duties require sufficient mobility to work in a normal office setting and use standard office equipment, vision to read printed materials, a computer monitor, and a hearing and speech sufficient to communicate in person or over the telephone. Duties also require sufficient physical agility to set up recreation equipment and perform necessary inspections of said equipment to ensure it is ready for use by participants. These requirements may be accommodated for otherwise qualified individuals requiring and requesting such accommodations. Pre-employment physical exam is required.
