Washington Township Public Schools is Hiring an Anticipated Director of Special Education DIR-0002 Near Sewell, NJ
- Salary determined in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement between the Washington Township Board of Education and the Washington Township Principals’ Association
- 12 month
- 21 vacation days per year
- 12 sick days per year
- 5 personal days year

- Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- New Jersey Endorsement as School Administrator or eligibility for the same.
- Experience in administration.
- Experience in the role of Special Education Teacher, Special Education Supervisor, Related Services, and/or Child Study Team Member.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the district and visit existing special education programs in an effort to give feedback and support to staff members and students in various learning environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with administrators, teachers, support staff, and school community members.
- Working knowledge of NJAC 6A:14.
- New Jersey Endorsement as School Principal or eligibility for the same.
- Minimum 3 years teaching experience in Special Education.
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
- Experience with Google and Microsoft platforms.
- Experience with Danielson observation instrument.
- Experience with Genesis SIS.
