- High school diploma/GED preferred or related experience in field.
- Previous experience and/or certified training in a school or commercial kitchen preferred, but not required.
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following, on as needed basis:
- Prepare and serve food according to nutrition guidelines.
- Cleaning equipment according to sanitation guidelines.
- Operation of a commercial dishwasher and other commercial grade kitchen equipment, according to food sanitation and preparation guidelines.
- Maintaining inventory and stock.
- Identify reimbursement student meals.
- Operating our point of sale cash register system.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervision.
Mental DemandMaintains confidentiality, experiences frequent interruptions; requires concentration and attention to detail; may occasionally deal with distraught or difficult individuals.
Physical DemandsRequired to sit for prolonged periods; exposed to visual display terminal for prolonged periods; dexterity and precision required in the operation of a computer. Other physical demands that may be required are as follows:
