The Facilities, Fleet, and Parks Department is seeking an Equipment and Supply Coordinator (ESC) to join our team and support the work of our dedicated facilities technicians and specialist teams. This newly created position will support the department with research and purchasing of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary to maintain county-owned buildings and will progress to setting up and administering a warehouse that includes county-standard office furnishings.
The ESC will work closely with the Mail and Print Services Supervisor to create a well-organized stock management scheme that integrates well with the existing work order system. The stock management scheme will be based on three tiers: personal (items issued directly to technicians and their vehicles), building (items staged against future need in specific structures), and warehouse (items to replenish the first two tiers continuously). This is a non-represented position and is not covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
Regular and limited duration full-time employees working 30 hours or more per week and job share employees are eligible for benefits beginning on the first of the month following employment. Job share employees are responsible for 50% of the premium. Part-time regular, variable hour, and temporary positions are not eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits.
