Washington Commanders is Hiring a Partnerships Intern Near College Park, VA
The Partnerships Team at the Washington Commanders is looking for a full-time intern to join the Partnerships Department, which focuses on partnership Sales, Solutions and Success for the 2024 season. Our Intern will be an integral part of the Partnerships Team and will gain valuable experience working with team partners through the pre-season, in-season, and post-season cycles of our partnerships. (June 2024 – May 2025) Job Responsibilities
Assist in category research and sales prep materials for team
Assist in planning and execution of sponsor-related events, both in season and out of season
Assist in planning and execution of special events, games and client meetings
Support game day activations specific to partnerships
Capture and log proof of performance for partners at games, events and online (using Zoomph)
Track partnership assets, creative assets and partner materials
Support team with developing deal sheets and asset management materials using KORE CRM software
Interact professionally with clients, team executives, other departments, and fans at games and events
Act as point of contact in Partner’s Club Suite for all team home games and special events
Assist in partnership activation set-up, tear-down, and distribution of promotional materials
Support tracking and execution of game day VIP hospitality
Assist in the implementation of digital and physical signage partner signage
Participate in team meetings, events and initiatives
Other duties as assigned
Key Skills/Qualifications Required
Business/marketing experience
Strategic thinker
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
Attention to detail for executing in-market promotions and events involving team partners
Ability to commute to Commanders Front Office(Riverdale, MD), OrthoVirginia Training Center at Commanders Park (Ashburn, VA) and Commanders Field (Landover, MD)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Above average skills in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel), KORE/Dynamics, Photoshop a plus
Proven experience to appropriately work with and around confidential information
Ability to work all Commanders home preseason and regular season games
Ability to work events outside of normal business hours/days (i.e. evenings and weekends)
Access to car is required
