Warwick School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position:
Director of Student Services. 12-month, Act 93 position, effective July 1, 2024.
Warwick School District is seeking a highly motivated educational leader to strategically coordinate, support, facilitate and supervise the dynamic, effective and responsive programs for all students with a focus in the area of Special Education, School Counseling, Psychological Services, Social Work Services, Student Health Services, Mental Health Services, English Language Development and Student Records. This position reports to the Assistant Superintendent.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: systematically and collaboratively develop a positive, equitable and inclusive culture to promote continuous student growth and staff development, vision development, refined communication skills, creative problem-solving, comprehensive supervision and compliance monitoring in the areas of Special Education, Gifted Education, 504 Service Plans, School Counseling, Psychological Services, Social Work, Nursing, Mental Health, English Language Learners, Student Records and Related Services. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Coordinator of Student Services.
Pennsylvania certification required. Valid supervisory certificate in special education is required.
Medical examination, tuberculin test, federal and state criminal record checks and child abuse history clearance are required prior to employment.
