Position Description
Title of Position: Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach
Preparation Date: May 2024

Function of Position:
Responsible to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Director of Athletics for assisting with
the basketball program including student-athlete recruitment and retention. Perform other
duties as assigned within the “W” or athletic department.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Serve in management of assigned positional responsibility; responsible for contest and

practice preparation
2. Assist Head Coach with all recruiting within program
3. Manage off-season programs
4. Assist the head coach with overall program management including fundraising and

camps
5. Other related duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires Bachelor’s degree, coaching and recruiting experience, and a commitment to the
welfare and development of student athletes within the philosophy of NCAA Division III.
Prefer a Master’s degree.
