Senior DevOps Engineer - Join the Innovative Team at Warrior Insurance Network

Location : Bedford Park, IL (On-site 3 days a week w/hybrid schedule flexibility)

Warrior Insurance Network Overview : Warrior Insurance Network is on the hunt for an experienced and dynamic Senior DevOps Engineer to expand our technological horizons. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a crucial role in bridging operations and development, streamlining our project lifecycles, and enhancing our infrastructure.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the development and implementation of scalable, secure, and robust DevOps solutions
• Collaborate with development teams to automate and optimize continuous delivery pipelines
• Design and manage cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability and performance
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution
• Drive containerization and orchestration efforts, using tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Develop and enforce best practices for version control, configuration management, and documentation
• Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and practices
• Assist in the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies, keeping our processes at the cutting edge
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Dev team members

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Strong background in Linux/Unix and Windows administration
• Expertise in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), including infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket, CircleCI).
• Knowledge of container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
• Solid understanding of network architecture and security principles
• Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
• Insurance industry experience is a plus, but not required
